The most powerful thing we have is an opportunity to live a life that inspires others.

Every day I am inspired by other people and the way they conduct their lives. Disregarding the ‘normal’ rules, setting their own expectations for what life should be, and stopping at nothing to obtain them – all while creating lasting friendships and memorable impressions along the way. I see people who are carving a path through life like a tornado but instead of destruction their impact is awesomeness.

I want that. I refuse to live a life of mediocrity to arrive at death in a safe, well preserved body. That is not life. Today was not a day that will be written about in my memoir and that thought makes me sick to my stomach.

So I’m here to inspire myself (and hopefully others, because the thought of inspiring others inspires me to do more) to take no prisoners, live the life that I deem fulfilling; fill it with old friends, new friends, and friends I haven’t met yet; fill it with near-death experiences, full-life experiences, and experiences I can’t yet describe; fill it with good deeds and helpfulness; because that is what will make me feel alive.

Not a paycheck. Not a job at a desk. Not a promotion. What makes me feel alive is real impact on real lives of real people.

Here I am. Through each challenge that is set, I hope to break down barriers that are limiting people from achieving their ideal life and inspire those people in to action.
